008-26 PSC Regular Meeting – Ferry Franchise Matters (August 2026)

U.S. Virgin Islands — The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission took several procedural actions during its recent meeting regarding ongoing ferry-rate investigations and emergency fuel surcharge requests affecting ferry service between St. Thomas and St. John.

Commission) met for its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

U.S. Virgin Islands — The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (PSC) convened on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, to address critical energy procurement matters affecting the Territory, including challenges in the ongoing Request for Proposals (RFP) process for liquid
propane gas (LPG) supply and delivery, interim contractual agreements, and the forthcoming generation RFP overseen by the Office of Disaster Recovery (ODR).

US VIRGIN ISLANDS – On Monday, March 24, 2025, the Virgin Islands Public Services
Commission (PSC or the Commission) appeared before the 36th Legislative Committee on Government Operations, Veterans Affairs, and Consumer Protection, chaired by the Honorable Senator Avery L. Lewis.

U.S. Virgin Islands — The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (PSC) used its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, to advance its statutory review of ferry rates and services between St. Thomas and St. John. The review is being conducted under Docket 691 in accordance with the Commission’s legal obligation to investigate the rates and services of
regulated utilities at least once every five years.
