recertification of several local telecommunications providers, ensuring continued federal support
for critical communications infrastructure across the territory.

Energy Matters.

U.S. Virgin Islands — The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (PSC) used its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, to advance its statutory review of ferry rates and services between St. Thomas and St. John. The review is being conducted under Docket 691 in accordance with the Commission’s legal obligation to investigate the rates and services of
regulated utilities at least once every five years.

Telecommunications Update: Broadband VI Reports Progress, Delays, and FCC Certification Impacts for Connect VI Deployment U.S. Virgin Islands — The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (PSC) today announces continued progress in the territory’s broadband expansion efforts following a comprehensive status update from Broadband VI LLC regarding its Connect VI deployment.

U.S. Virgin Islands — the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (PSC) received detailed updates and took action on several significant energy matters affecting the territory, including consultant selection for electric utility oversight, infrastructure modernization efforts by the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA), outstanding streetlight receivables, and
developments in the WAPA base rate investigation (Docket No. 706).

The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (PSC) recently concluded a two-day series of public hearings on St. John (February 2) and St. Thomas (February 3) as part of Docket No. 691, the investigation into ferry service rates and operations between St. Thomas and St. John.
