U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (PSC), during its Regular Meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, voted to maintain the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s (WAPA) current Levelized Energy Adjustment Clause (LEAC) rate through the end of 2026 while directing additional technical review of WAPA’s filing and deferred-fuel calculations. The
Commission also approved annual Eligible Telecommunications Carrier (ETC) recertifications for multiple telecommunications providers operating throughout the Territory.

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (PSC) addressed several matters affecting inter-island ferry transportation during its Regular Meeting held Tuesday, September 8, 2026, including the continuation of the emergency fuel surcharge and pending matters associated with the Commission’s Ferry Rate Investigation under Docket No. 691.

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (PSC) continued its review of the St. John ferry franchise rate investigation during its regular Meeting held on August 11, 2026.

U.S. Virgin Islands — The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (PSC) approved a temporary 66-cent per-ticket emergency fuel surcharge for the St. Thomas/St. John Ferry, Franchise operators during its June meeting. The surcharge will remain in effect for 90 days and was approved alongside a waiver of the standard 30-day public notice requirement.
